It is a traditional water ozonation scheme (as an example). It includes an air supply unit (a compressor and an air pretreatment system), an air drier with thermal or PSA regeneration, a dry air ozonizer and a soaking drum. Similar schemes, though being a sort of complicated, frequently appear optimal for medium and large water ozonation units, as they minimize ozone losses and energy consumption for production of the same. |

For small water ozonation units, there is usually a much more attractive schema based on a non-dry air ozonizer. In this case, the power consumption spent for ozone production does not play any significant role as the power in question is about 30 to 40 W. More significant here is simplicity of unit design and reduction of its cost due to exclusion of some de vices. Such schema is shown below: |
